Balmedie House

Balmedie House is a residential care home for older people set in 26 acres of woodland and gardens.

Situated next to the seaside village of Balmedie, just eight miles from Aberdeen, Balmedie House is an impressive mansion house in a peaceful rural setting. From the moment you join us, we aim to focus on all the things that make you happy.

All service users are involved in drawing up their own care plan to ensure we meet all your care needs in full.

As a Balmedie resident you are encouraged to maintain close links with your family and friends, who are welcome to visit at any time.

We have strong links with our local community. We encourage visits from school children, provide transport each Sunday morning to church and offer a library service. We also have our Circle of Friends who befriend residents and organise outings and entertainment.

We also offer respite care at Balmedie House.
